Qualifications for Hourly Staff

To be considered for hourly staff positions, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old (25 years old for drivers).
  • Fingerprint Clearance: Currently have, or have the ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Training: Completion of Article 9 Training and CPR/First Aid (both are provided or paid for by our agency).
  • Agency Training: Complete the required training provided by the agency.
  • Direct Care Worker Training: Complete Direct Care Worker Level 1 & 2 training.
  • Background Check: Pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Driving Record: Provide a three-year driving record if transportation of members is required.

We are currently hiring direct care staff to support home and community based services. We are looking to fill Habilitation, Attendant care, and Respite positions throughout Maricopa and Pinal County. We are also looking for Day Program staff to support our Day Program in North Phoenix. 

Current rates are: 

Habilitation- $21.50

Attendant Care- $20.50

Respite Care- $19.50 

Day Program- $16.50 - 19.50

General Qualifications for Developmental Home Providers

If you are interested in becoming a licensed Developmental Home Provider, please review the following general qualifications:

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Fingerprint Clearance: Obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Protective Service Registry: Pass protective service registry checks.
  • Residency: Must be lawfully present in the U.S. and reside in Arizona.
  • Health and Safety: Free of medical, physical, or mental health issues that could affect safe care provision.
  • Home Environment: Ability to provide a caring, nurturing, and positive home environment with a clean bed and adequate bedroom space.
  • Financial Stability: Sufficient income to meet the needs of your family.
  • Life-Safety Requirements: Capable of meeting and maintaining life-safety standards for the home or apartment.
